Implants suit most healthy adults with a missing or failing tooth. Bone density, gum health, and habits like smoking all factor in, and some patients need a bone graft first. Your consultation includes a 3D CBCT scan, which lets Dr. Asadi and Dr. Rider see your bone, nerves, and sinuses in three dimensions and plan your implant placement with precision, before anything touches your mouth. Who places dental implants at Advanced Family Dentistry?
Dental implants are placed by Dr. Payam K. Asadi, DMD, and Dr. Justin Rider, DDS, our oral surgery and implant dentist, in our Oracle Road office with IV sedation available, and your final crown is designed and fitted here too, so the entire process happens under one roof.
How long does the implant process take?
Most single implants take three to six months from placement to final crown, mainly to give the implant time to fuse with your jawbone. Some cases qualify for faster timelines, which we can assess at your consultation.
Will I need a bone graft?
Only if the jawbone at the site is too thin to hold an implant securely, which our CBCT 3D imaging shows us before anything is scheduled. Our guide on bone grafting for implants explains what to expect.
What do dental implants cost?
Cost depends on the tooth, the type of restoration, and whether grafting is needed. We verify insurance, give you the full cost in writing before treatment, and offer monthly payment plans through our Payments page.
