For a straightforward case, one complete package includes:
The $3,000 package applies to a straightforward single-tooth case using standard components. Your final price is determined after a clinical examination and 3D imaging.
If clinically necessary, extraction, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, a temporary tooth, IV sedation, treatment of active infection or gum disease, and custom or upgraded components are additional.
Pricing reviewed August 2026. You will receive a written, itemized estimate before treatment begins.
Published Tucson pricing pages reviewed in August 2026 show complete single-tooth prices ranging from roughly $2,500 to more than $6,500. A quote can look inexpensive when it covers only the implant post but leaves out the abutment, crown, imaging, or surgery. The useful question is not simply “How much is an implant?” It is “What does the quoted price include?”
At Advanced Family Dentistry, our complete package starts at $3,000 and includes the four core parts listed above. If your case needs additional preparation, we explain why and show every cost in writing before you decide.
The implant fixture is placed in the jawbone and replaces the missing tooth root. It heals and integrates with the surrounding bone.
The abutment is the connector between the implant inside the bone and the visible replacement tooth.
The custom crown is the visible tooth. It is shaped and adjusted to fit your bite and blend with the surrounding teeth.
Bone grafting, sinus augmentation, or periodontal treatment may be needed to create a stable, healthy foundation.
A front tooth can require additional esthetic planning, while a back tooth must withstand heavier chewing forces.
Removing a damaged tooth or providing a temporary replacement can add steps and materials.
IV sedation is available when appropriate. Surgical complexity and custom components can also affect the total.
Dr. Payam Asadi and Dr. Justin Rider provide implant care in our Tucson office, with oral surgery and IV sedation available in-house. The final crown is designed and fitted by the same practice, reducing outside referrals and helping the team coordinate your treatment from start to finish.

A single-tooth implant restoration has three main parts: the implant fixture placed in the jawbone, the abutment that connects the fixture to the restoration, and the final crown that looks and functions like the visible tooth.
Many single-tooth cases take approximately three to six months from implant placement to the final crown because the implant needs time to integrate with the jawbone. Cases involving grafting or other preparation may take longer.
